About David:
David lost 9 teeth playing on his high school’s freshman basketball team.  When the coach did not even call a time out in the middle of the practice in which that happened, he decided that he would be more productive applying himself to his studies than to sport.  That did not stop him from loving most things athletic. 

Over the years, he received a degree in history from Boston College and a law degree from Boston College Law School, where he also played on the school’s National Champion Co-ed Law Student Softball Team (1993). In addition to practicing law mitchell-legal.com, he is currently a contributing writer at SavingAdvice.com where he finds connections between frugal living and almost every aspect of life, and a columnist at BiblioBuffet where he offers up bi-weekly thoughts on books and reading. He lives in Florida with his wonderful wife, two sons and a labradoodle puppy.
