Let's face it, when you went into work today everyone was scrambling to get theirbrackets finished. Some people were doing it in secret (for whatever reason some work places don't support gambling), other places just don't care and accept this as being as American as apple pie. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, the tournament started yesterday. Not even ESPN acknowledged "the first four", at least bracket wise, because you have to have your's finished today on their site. I did all mine last night, and for the 15th season in a row I picked Duke to win the National Championship. Which leads me to my thought of the day, how do you pick?
My Final Four isn't too off the wall. I have Duke, North Carolina, Pitt, and Notre Dame. My championship game is Duke vs Pitt, with of course Duke repeating as National Champions. I do have some upsets picked for the first round. I have St. John's making it all the way to the Elite 8. Indiana State beating Syracuse. Memphis beating Arizona. Richmond beating Vanderbilt. USC (a first four) beating Georgetown. In the second round, as I said earlier I have PSU beating SDSU. Michigan State beating Florida. St. John's taking out BYU. I have Louisville taking out the first number one seed, Kansas in the Sweet 16, then Louisville losing to Notre Dame on their way to the Final Four. Besides those games everything else on my brackets are pretty typical.
